Wanting to escape

When you want to run away from everything, you can hide here and rest for a while

Messages, work, family things, one piled on top of another. Suddenly you want to switch off your phone, buy a ticket to anywhere, and go somewhere no one knows you, where you don’t have to answer anyone or be responsible for anything. Then the next morning you get up and head out as usual, quietly pushing the thought back down.

Wanting to escape is your heart saying it’s tired

Wanting to run away usually doesn’t mean you are irresponsible. It means you have been holding on for a long time, and the weight you are carrying is more than you can manage right now. The thought is a signal: you need to breathe, and you need some time when no one needs anything from you. Admitting you want to escape doesn’t mean you will abandon everything.

In the Forest Cabin, hide away for a little while

The Forest Cabin is tucked deep in the woods. No one will find you here, and there is no to-do list. Put your phone on silent and listen to the wind in the leaves, or write “I really want to run away” on a bedside note, then add one small thing you can let go of today, and fold it away so it stays only on your device. When you have rested enough, you can walk back slowly. If the wish to disappear keeps growing, or ever turns into thoughts of hurting yourself, please reach out to someone you trust or a professional soon. You don’t have to carry it alone.

No account, no name, and you can leave whenever you like.
